Squishy Sushi is located in San Francisco, California. We make quality artisan jewelry out of recycled materials with minimal waste. Many of our pieces incorporate images from post-consumer sources such as junk mail and catalogs, salvaging beauty from what is otherwise trash. These reclaimed images arw used in a variety of ways. Some of our images come from paper scraps produced as by-product by other artisans. Smaller images are mounted on tiles from old board games like dominoes. Then these pieces are sealed with a non-toxic resin that is resistant to heat and water. Larger images are shredded and then wrapped in overlapping patterns onto wood eco-bangles to create brilliant patterns of color. Our fine silver pieces are made from Art Clay Silver produced from reclaimed silver particles by Aida Corporation of Japan.
